We've had a great week of fun and adventure! Thursday we took the kids out of school and headed up to Brianhead with Tyler's mom and dad (a.k.a. Clark & Kassie). I wasn't sure if I would be able to go but thanks to my sweet sweet mother being willing able to take the busy body Lincoln for a day, I got to spend the day with older kiddos - and I'm so glad I didn't miss it!
Morgan is such a great little skiier! After our 2nd run we took the strap off of Morgan's skiis that hold them together at the front. She was a little hesitant but did so great without them! She has such great form and by the end of the day was making great turns!
Ty had them all following behind him making wide turns across the whole mountain. It was so fun to stay at the top of the hill on my snowboard and watch my little ducks follow their daddy down the hill. (that's me in the background of this picture - the lone snowboarder)
Cameron is our little adventure skiier - just like his daddy he loves to go through the jump park!
I was so proud of all of them for their good attitudes - cuz it was cold and learning to ski is hard!!! We had such a fun day and I'll always remember it.
And I LOVE my dad's honest sense of humor! I called to check on Linc while we had lunch and told my dad I hoped Linc would take a long nap! He just says, "yeah, the longer the better for us." Then when we picked him up my dad says to Lincoln,
"thanks for coming, come again when you can't stay so long!" he he he
I know my busy little boy wears them out but he loves them so much,
and I think they kinda like him too!!!
Friday brought more fun for Ty and I! Finally time for my christmas present! Tyler had given me tickets to Jack's Mannequin for Christmas along with the documentary of the lead singer's battle with Leukemia! It was a really inspiring DVD to watch and made me love the band that much more - but they were already my favorite. We saw them 3 years ago and it was to long to wait to see them again. They are sooo good live! He plays the piano and is so talented, plus his music is just what sings to me. Some of it I can chill to, some of it I can run too, and some of it gets me pumped to get my bike up a big hill a little faster than the last time! And I can always sing a long - last night's concert was not a disappointment! I loved every single second of it!!!
At this point he wasn't so much playing his piano as jumping off of it! It was a happy crowd!
And this is the t-shirt I made to wear! "I wanna hear some music" is the first line of my favorite?(not sure I really have a favorite) song they sing!

Oh my gosh! Am I a groupie????
